RC Strasbourg Alsace are reported to have made FC Lausanne-Sport player Karim Sow (23) one of their targets for the summer transfer window, according to Foot Mercato. The Payerne-born player is said to be very high on the Alsatian club’s shortlist
Valued at between €4m and €5m, the Swiss defender is also reportedly being targeted by Borussia Mönchengladbach, as well as Ipswich Town and Hull City, both of whom have been promoted to the Premier League this season.
Having come through the ranks at Young Boys in his youth, it was with the Lausanne club that Sow signed the first professional contract of his career in 2021. Loaned to Stade Nyonnais during the 2023-24 season, he established himself as a permanent fixture at the heart of the Blue and Whites’ defence the following campaign, and has remained there ever since.
Making 40 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, Sow notably started every one of the 31 league matches he featured in during that period.
