Strasbourg reach €15m agreement to sign Lucas Hogsberg | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace have been the most active of all Ligue 1 clubs in the transfer window so far and they are now on the verge of securing another recruit. As per a report from Foot Mercato, Lucas Hogsberg (19) is set to join in a deal worth €15m.

It has been a very busy window for Les Alsaciens, who have brought in 12 new players. The defence has been heavily reinforced. Soumaïla Coulibaly, Andrew Omobamidele (who spent the second half of last season on loan at RCSA), and Mamadou Sarr, returning on loan, will all bolster Liam Rosenior’s options in the centre of defence.

Competition for places will be fierce, especially now that they are also about to add Hogsberg to the mix. The Denmark international is growing ever closer to making the switch to France. As per Foot Mercato, there is an agreement in place between Strasbourg and his current club, Nordsjaelland.

The deal will be worth €15m, plus bonuses, and the Danish side will also retain a sell-on percentage.
