Stuttgart confirm new contract for Wohlgemuth | OneFootball

Fabian Wohlgemuth has signed a new three-year contract with VfB Stuttgart.

The Bundesliga club confirmed on Tuesday that their sporting director has extended his contract until 2029.

“Together, we have put many things on the right track for VfB over the past few years," said Wohlgemuth, who has worked for the Bundesliga club since December 2022.

"With my colleagues on the board, led by our CEO Alexander Wehrle, with Sebastian Hoeneß and Christian Gentner, in the youth academy with Stephan Hildebrandt, and with our VfB women’s team with Sascha Glass. Our names stand for all VfB employees who, through their daily work, form the backbone of this special club.

“I would like to thank the supervisory board, led by Dietmar Allgaier, for their trust and support. We are now taking another step based on mutual trust, which I want to justify on my part by consistently working together with everyone to pursue and maintain our course towards achieving our ambitious goals.
