VfB Stuttgart striker Jovan Milošević is reportedly closing in on an €8m move to Sporting Braga. Ben Jacobs reports the 21-year-old has opted to join and is expected to sign a five-year contract.

Sky Germany and Kicker report negotiations are advanced, although a final agreement between the clubs has not yet been reached. Udinese are attempting a late intervention.

A permanent exit would end a Stuttgart spell that barely got going. Signed from Vojvodina for about €1.2m in 2023, he made only brief Bundesliga cameos before a run of loans. An €8m fee would represent a sizeable profit for VfB.

Back in Serbia he flourished, initially wishing to stay with Partizan after finally earning regular minutes in Belgrade. He then scored 19 goals in 30 competitive appearances before returning to Germany.

Stuttgart kept control of his future, extending his contract to 2029 before sending him to Werder Bremen on loan in January. After a slow start, he became part of Bremen’s relegation fight.

He finished the stint with three goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances, rebuilding his prospects after spells with Stuttgart, St. Gallen and Partizan.
