Sudakov earns podium place in CIES list of top-value stars outside big five leagues | OneFootball

Georgiy Sudakov has been one of Benfica’s standout performers this season and has now been recognised in an international study.

According to Glorioso 1904, the CIES Football Observatory’s latest analysis of players outside Europe’s top five leagues ranks the Ukrainian midfielder third, assigning an estimated market value of €49.4m, behind Porto pair Victor Froholdt and Rodrigo Mora.

The study focuses on players operating outside the five major European leagues, highlighting those who could command significant fees.

For Benfica this season, Sudakov has played 33 competitive matches, 18 in Liga Portugal Betclic, nine in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal and two in the Taça da Liga.

Across 2,268 minutes, the No 10 has recorded four goals and five assists. He is valued at €30m.
