Sunderland’s 1937-inspired home kit flew off the shelves after its Wednesday morning release, as supporters rushed to snap up the new shirt.
According to Sunderland Echo, the launch paid tribute to the FA Cup final win over Preston North End and drew an enthusiastic response.
