Régis Le Bris has made one change for Sunderland’s final pre-season fixture, with Thomas Meunier absent from the squad. According to Sunderland Echo, Meunier sustained a minor knock in training. It is not thought to be serious at this stage, and Le Bris will provide an update after the game.

Trai Hume drops into his natural full-back role, with Chemsdine Talbi coming into the XI. Talbi is expected to operate on the right flank, with Nilson Angulo continuing on the left.
