Sunderland could have a delicate summer on their hands, with two of Régis Le Bris’ starters attracting serious interest from Europe, leaving sporting director Florent Ghisolfi with major decisions to weigh.
Bayern Munich are monitoring striker Brian Brobbey ahead of the window, The Independent reports, while TEAMtalk says Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are circling midfielder Noah Sadiki. Brobbey, 24, has impressed in his first Premier League season after arriving from Ajax for about £17m, a fee that could rise to £21.5m with add-ons.
Brobbey has six goals in 25 appearances, and it is his strength, movement and ability to lead the line that are said to have appealed to elite clubs. The Netherlands international featured at Euro 2024 and is pushing for a World Cup place, which could further raise his value.
There is no indication Sunderland are minded to sell, yet any formal bid would test their resolve, consistent with a model built on identifying and developing high-potential talent. Sadiki is also drawing widespread interest ahead of the summer.
Sadiki joined from Union SG for around £15m last summer and the DR Congo international has made 27 Premier League appearances. His energy, defensive awareness and ability to progress the ball have made him central to Le Bris’ midfield and a major factor in their push towards the top half. He is on a long-term deal at the Academy of Light, and Sunderland could be braced for approaches for both players.
