Sunderland ‘to hold talks’ to sign Dodi Lukebakio as Marco Silva prefers Rafa Silva | OneFootball

Sunderland are exploring a permanent move for Benfica winger Dodi Lukebakio before the window closes.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Black Cats have opened talks with Benfica after a late approach, and the 28-year-old is keen on a Premier League return.

Benfica are prepared to listen to proposals for the Belgium international. Lukebakio previously featured for Watford in 2017/18, without making a mark.

He had also been linked with Besiktas, but Sunderland could be his next destination.
