Last summer, Roma managed to retain Manu Koné, a prized player in their squad, but it was not without difficulty.

Sporting director Massara said “no” to Inter’s advances, temporarily locking down the French midfielder.

In the upcoming summer transfer window, Il Corriere dello Sport writes, it will be difficult to retain Gasperini’s most in-form players.

Wesley was quickly transformed by the former Atalanta manager into one of the league’s best full-backs, and according to today’s edition of the newspaper, Manchester City and Tottenham are reportedly ready to make a splash for the Brazilian in the Premier League.

Another pillar of Roma’s current squad is undoubtedly Mile Svilar, recently named best goalkeeper of the 2024-2025 season.

The goalkeeper is proving himself this season as well and has proven decisive on several occasions in the first half of the season.

Roma are expecting offers of at least €50 million for the number 99: this would be a huge capital gain that would be tempting for the club’s coffers, but Mile could be the cornerstone on which to build a solid foundation for the future.
