Mile Svilar once again takes center stage.

For the second consecutive year, the Roma goalkeeper was named Serie A’s best goalkeeper at the Gran Galà del Calcio in Milan, an event celebrating last season’s stars.

Another accolade for the Giallorossi goalkeeper, who, at the award ceremony, didn’t forget the competition: “There are other strong goalkeepers, but I’m happy and grateful to be here again.”

A brief mention of Roma’s ambitions and the possibility of joining the title race is also inevitable.

Svilar prefers not to look too far ahead and keeps his feet on the ground: “Step by step, we’re only at the beginning. We’ll do our part and then we’ll see.”

Finally, his relationship with Gian Piero Gasperini and the second year of working together. Here too, the goalkeeper’s assessment is clear: “Working with Gasperini is wonderful. We’ve been together for a year now, and I think this will be even better.”
