Germany’s Jürgen Klopp era got underway on Thursday, as the former Liverpool manager led his side to a 1-1 draw away to the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
Jonathan Tah was pleased with the mentality and energy shown by the German team, saying their clear aim was to show a different side of themselves.

“We brought fire, intensity and energy,” Tah told RTL after the game (via Focus.de).
“Things weren’t perfect either with or without the ball, but that wasn’t the point. It was about showing that we want to show a different side of ourselves on the pitch. That was the first step,” added the Bayern Munich centre-back.
The next step will come on Sunday, when Germany host Greece.
