Birmingham City midfielder Tahith Chong has offered a unique insight into the Blues squad, revealing who is the loudest in the Blues dressing room.
Interestingly, when doing so, the 23-year-old made a clear distinction between being loud as a ‘leader’ and in terms of ‘vibes’.
Speaking to Football League World, via Sky Bet, the 23-year-old explained: “We’ve got quite a few leaders in the team, like Troy Deeney.”
“The loudest person in the dressing room, in terms of vibes, is Dion Sanderson.”
Tahith Chong first joined the Blues on loan last season, but injuries plighted his first season at St. Andrews.
Indeed, throughout his first season with Blues whilst on loan from Man Utd, the Dutchman made just 20 appearances for the club in the Championship, scoring once and registering three assists.
This season however, to date, Chong’s fitness has been much improved, already having surpassed his appearance tally for last campaign.
So far in 2022/23, Chong has featured 24 times in all competitions, scoring twice and registering four assists for his teammates.
Not only has Chong been fit, but his versatility in John Eustace’s XI has been a key strength of the player so far this season.
For example, he has played in both the number eight roles deployed by Eustace at times, as well as up front, and even on the right of a back four, in his own words.
Speaking to Football League World via Sky Bet, elsewhere, Chong also discussed the Blues tough current form and voiced his verdict on Blues boss John Eustace.
