Talles Magno has reflected on his Corinthians loan, hailing the club’s supporters and contrasting the approaches of Ramón Díaz and Dorival Júnior across a 2024 to 2025 spell.
"Many say there is nothing like it, that it is surreal, and I felt that. What makes Corinthians different is that even at 0-0 in the 45 minutes of the second half they keep supporting as if we were winning 3-0, and they can fill any stadium," he told Charla Podcast.
The forward debuted on 10 June 2024 against Red Bull Bragantino, scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. He also set up a goal in the 5-2 win over Athletico-PR that began a run of nine straight victories to clinch 2025 Libertadores and Copa do Brasil spots.
"With Ramón Díaz, they took part in training a lot. Emiliano, his son, and the staff joined drills and rondos, and Ramón told me what I needed to do during games."
Family Díaz won the Campeonato Paulista in early 2025, when Talles played 12 of 16 matches with six goal contributions. A slow Brasileiro start and a Libertadores exit led to their April dismissal and Dorival Júnior’s appointment.
Under Dorival, Talles played in 27 of 43 matches in 2025, mostly from the bench, contributing one goal and three assists. Corinthians declined a US$ 13.5 million option at year’s end, and he returned to New York City FC.
