Pasquale Guarro has now reported that Muharemovic is the top priority for Inter. The two clubs have had informal discussions, with Inter having spoken to Muharemovic’s entourage too. But soon, Cristian Chivu’s side and Sassuolo will hold formal talks as well.

The deal will also involve Juve, who have a buyback clause in the player’s contract. This means Inter may have to pay a bit extra to sign him but they remain keen. They also want an experienced defender but Muharemovic could come in as a replacement for Alessandro Bastoni, who is angling towards Barcelona.
