Jimmy Thelin has named his Aberdeen side for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Final against Celtic. The Pittodrie side have 20,000 fans in support at Hampden and will be looking to win their first piece of silverware since 2014 and their first Scottish Cup since 1990.
Thelin, who started his time with Aberdeen with an incredible run, has gone under pressure in the last few months after the Dons slipped from third to fifth.
Despite this, the Swede has the chance to write his name into Aberdeen history with a victory. Celtic will be looking to stop that and secure a Treble and more history of their own.
Aberdeen: Mitov, Devlin, Milne, Knoester, Dorrington, Jensen, Shinnie, Clarkson, Palaversa, Keskinen, Nisbet.
Subs: Doohan, Mackenzie, Polvara, Dabbagh, Gueye, Morris, Tobers, Boyd
Jack Mackenzie has made the bench after suffering a head injury in disgraceful scenes at full time at Tannadice last weekend when an Aberdeen supporter is alleged to have thrown a seat towards the left back, leaving him on the ground and requiring treatment. Thankfully he has made the Cup Final but hopefully he is on the losing side.
