FLW looks at the players who are set to have no involvement in Friday's fixture at The Hawthorns
After two rounds of fixtures in the space of five days, the Championship is set for its 21st round of action this coming weekend.
The fixture pile-up is growing, as is so often the case as we head towards the Christmas and New Year period, with training and recovery sessions limited as a result.
As such, it is an extremely quick turnaround for both West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United, who are both hoping for a return to winning ways as the Sky Sports cameras roll into The Hawthorns for Friday night's 8PM kick-off.
Ryan Mason is under ever-growing pressure in B71 following a 3-2 defeat at Southampton on Tuesday night, whilst a decimated Blades squad were simultaneously held by lowly Norwich City at Bramall Lane as Djibril Soumare turned into his own net as the Canaries left the Steel City with a point.
With both sides currently positioned in 16th and 17th in the Championship table, it is the first of six opportunities to kickstart momentum between now and the FA Cup third round weekend.
Mason and Chris Wilder will hope that some of their star men can step up and make a difference. But, there are six of those across the two respective squads who are set to play no part in proceedings, and FLW has looked at each of their individual predicaments.

Toby Collyer's loan stint with West Brom away from Manchester United has been an extremely frustrating one thus far, and he is set to be sidelined for an extended period.
The 21-year-old was sidelined for four games after sustaining a hamstring issue against Preston North End in October, but returned to Mason's starting lineup for the local derby with Birmingham City on November 26th.
Unfortunately for the central midfielder, he lasted just 11 minutes before being substituted off with a serious calf issue, and it has since been revealed that he has returned to his parent club for the time being, in order to receive treatment for his latest setback.

Similarly, Albion captain Jed Wallace has also been missing for over two months with a calf issue which he sustained during the 3-0 defeat at the hands of his former club, Millwall, on October 4th.
After making just two league starts so far this season, it remains to be seen when the 31-year-old will return to full fitness, with Friday's clash against the Blades set to be a 12th consecutive game he has missed, with Mason revealing two weeks ago that a cautious approach was to be taken as Wallace continues his recovery.

There are question marks as to whether Ben Mee will return to Wilder's defence after missing the past two games against Stoke City and Norwich, as he recovers from a minor hand injury.
The 36-year-old has proven to be a shrewd addition this season and his presence would definitely be welcomed by those in South Yorkshire.
Wilder stated ahead of his side's 1-1 draw against the Canaries that Mee was fully fit, but he has to keep clear of making contact with the area in question.

Tom Davies' campaign has been one plagued by injuries, as he was absent until October with a calf issue, before suffering yet another setback after just five Championship appearances.
His latest blow came at the end of November, when Wilder revealed that the former Everton midfielder would miss at least four fixtures which followed the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on November 23rd.
Those encounters have since passed, but it remains to be seen whether the Liverpudlian will be involved in the matchday squad in any form.

United's recent availability woes were compounded by the loss of Sydie Peck against Norwich, with Wilder revealing post-match that the London-born central midfielder had suffered a calf issue over the course of last weekend that had continued into the week.
As such, he is also a doubt ahead of Friday's clash.
“Yes, it's not looking good,” Wilder stated. “He's had a calf injury from the weekend rolling into Monday. I can't risk (Oli Arblaster) Blaster for more than 60 minutes. That was the absolute max. Jairo (Riedewald, absent through illness) would have played.”

The final absentee for United is Irish international winger, Chiedozie Ogbene.
The winger, who was signed on loan from Ipswich Town, sustained a hamstring issue on international duty in the dramatic 3-2 victory over Hungary last month, despite the fact Wilder initially insisted his withdrawal in Budapest was taken as a precaution.
However, that appears to not be the case, with the former Rotherham United man missing all the following five Championship fixtures.
