Chelsea legend John Terry praised the Blues for their win over Burnley, but urged them to be more clinical in the final third.
Enzo Maresca’s men ground out a 2-0 win to make it three wins and three clean sheets in a row in the Premier League.
With Manchester City losing to Newcastle it means the Blues have now moved up to second in the league a point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side.
As has been the case this season Maresca made changes to the side, but not as many as he has done in previous games.
Moises Caicedo was left on the bench, with Andrey Santos putting in a man of the match performance, whilst Jamie Gittens and Tosin also started.

Pedro Neto opened the scoring for Chelsea with a nice header, whilst Enzo Fernandez scored the all important second late on.
Chelsea weren’t at their best but produced two moments of quality which proved to be the difference, but despite being pleased with the win Terry urged the Blues to be more clinical.
“Good performance, but the only thing for me, in the second-half, we have to take our chances against the better sides, but a win is a win, good win from the boys, big week ahead, Barcelona at the Bridge followed by Arsenal at Stamford Bridge,” he said on TikTok.

Another positive from the game was the fact Chelsea were able to give Caicedo a complete rest, which is a real rarity these days.

Caicedo played twice for Ecuador over the break, and will now be fresh for the big games against Barcelona and Arsenal, where Chelsea will need him to be at his best.
Estevao, who also played twice for his country over the break wasn’t used, and it would be a surprise if he didn’t feature against Barcelona, whilst Alejandro Garnacho also had the afternoon off, despite having four goal contributions in his last four games.
