A remarkable statistic, highlighting the brilliance of Thibaut Courtois in Real Madrid’s most recent outing, has come to the fore online.

As revealed by statisticians Opta, the 32-year-old’s ten saves are the most managed by a Real Madrid goalkeeper en route to a clean sheet in La Liga since club legend Iker Casillas all the way back in 2008.
