Spain’s annual register of major tax debtors for 2025 includes prominent Valencia CF figures, naming former presidents Francisco Roig, Juan Bautista Soler and Pedro Cortés, plus former vice-president Juan Armiñana.

According to Superdeporte, Roig no longer appears as an individual debtor, but his company Roig Grupo Corporativo owes 7.85 million euros, remaining among the largest outstanding sums in the Valencian Community.

Soler is listed with a personal liability of 986,533 euros. His firm Mercado de Construcción SL owes 5.082 million euros, while Residencial Mira Llevant has 6.85 million outstanding.

Former two-time president Pedro Cortés has a personal debt of 1.075 million euros. Entrepreneur Juan Armiñana, a former vice-president and director during Soler’s tenure, owes 1.23 million euros.

Club de Fútbol Intercity SAD again features, with 2.3 million euros owed to the tax agency. The only Spanish football club listed on the stock market, it has plans to allocate around 60 million euros to a new stadium.

Roig served as Valencia president from 1994 to 1997. Soler, majority shareholder between 2004 and 2008, initiated the Nou Mestalla in 2007, but work stopped in 2009 and remained idle for 16 years until January 2025.
