Tiago Nani, a 27-year-old winger with Dinamo Tirana, has made Albanian football history as the first Portuguese to play in the Europa Conference League for an Albanian club. He has added the Albanian Super Cup to his CV.

Speaking to O Jogo, Nani said this season has been very positive collectively and individually, and that his goals, assists and defensive work matter because they bring wins and trophies.

He has three goals and four assists this term. He views the latest trophy as confirmation of continuity, adding that Dinamo are a long-term project with clear ambition and objectives. It is his second trophy with the club, after last season's cup.

His European appearance only felt significant afterwards. In the moment he was focused on the match, then realised it was special for him, the club and Albanian football.

His path started in Portuguese academies, with Estoril showing him the professional dream was realistic and Aves under-23s cementing that belief. In the Liga Revelação he won the league and the cup, a spell that pushed him to take greater responsibility and trust that hard work could take him there.

He still sees the Liga Revelação as a demanding bridge to senior football, follows it when he can and regards it as beneficial for all involved. Among his European tests he highlights a duel with Oskar Pietuszewski, now at FC Porto, describing him as a quality prospect who fits the club, and noting the value of facing teams from different regions.
