Flamengo are pressing ahead with plans to recruit a centre-forward for Filipe Luís, with Richarlison a leading target and Tottenham willing to discuss a €25m deal.

ESPN reports that Richarlison has a verbal agreement with Tottenham to leave in June 2026, and that the club have set a €25m price.

While open to talks with Flamengo, Richarlison is said to prefer moves to Türkiye or Saudi Arabia. Even so, Flamengo remain focused on the pursuit and regard the fee as acceptable.

The forward is currently sidelined with a thigh injury and is working with Tottenham’s medical staff. He is expected to return to action in early March.

In January 2026, Flamengo bid for Kaio Jorge but failed to reach financial terms with Cruzeiro. They also explored a move for Darwin Núñez, now at Al Hilal, although the former Liverpool striker does not want to move to Brazil.

Richarlison has 31 appearances this season, with eight goals and three assists. Since joining in 2022/23, he has 28 goals and 12 assists in 121 matches. His contract runs to June 2027, a timeline that could help Flamengo if Tottenham choose to cash in as June 2026 nears.
