In Mikkel Desler and Niklas Schmidt, Toulouse FC will be without two key players as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophée des Champions on Wednesday night.

Desler is expected to be absent for a further three weeks with a calf injury, however, there were hopes that Schmidt could return, however, he too will miss out. Le TéFéCé will, however, be boosted by the return of captain Vincent Sierro, who is back from suspension, even if they are losing Logan Costa for the same reason.

The Cape Verde international will depart for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after the match, but other players set to compete in the tournament will be available to Carles Martinez Novell after Toulouse reached agreements with the federations of the relevant countries. Moussa Diarra and Frank Magri will both be available for Toulouse and both are expected to start.
