Toulouse sign Canada international Niko Sigur from Hajduk Split | OneFootball

Toulouse have signed Canada international Niko Sigur from Hajduk Split for a fee in excess of four million euros. The club said in a statement that the right-back, who can also operate in defensive midfield, has joined on undisclosed terms.

Sigur, 22, has 22 caps and two goals for Canada. He featured at this summer's World Cup, playing three matches including the round of 16 defeat to Morocco, 0-3.

He has spent his entire professional career with Hajduk Split.

The move makes him Toulouse's eighth arrival of the summer.

He follows Mathis Amougou from Strasbourg on loan, Ismail Diallo from Dijon on a free, Thomas Jörgensen from Viborg for seven and a half million euros, and David Odogu from AC Milan on loan.

Also in are Sion Oppong from Brommapojkarna for four million euros, Christ Tapé from Gorsens for two and a half million euros, and Casper Tengstedt from Feyenoord for four million euros.
