Trabzonspor have signed Sidny Lopes Cabral from Benfica and could still take Benfica’s intake beyond 25 million euros this window, according to Glorioso 1904.

The club from Türkiye paid 7 million euros for Sidny Cabral before the 2026 World Cup and now have Gianluca Prestianni in their sights, though a move looks more complicated.

Benfica value the Argentine at 20 million euros, which would lift Trabzonspor’s total spend on Benfica players to 27 million euros if agreement is reached.

The Turkish side are prepared to offer around 13 to 15 million euros in an effort to bridge the gap.

If the transfer is confirmed, Trabzonspor could become one of Benfica’s main clients in this window.

Clubs from Türkiye have tracked the Primeira Liga closely in recent seasons and remain alert to opportunities.

A switch for Prestianni would reunite him with Sidny Cabral, and the pair were indirectly tied to a flashpoint last season. Prestianni’s incident with Vinícius Júnior led to a preventive suspension before the second leg of a play-off against Real Madrid. After that game, Sidny Cabral asked the Brazil international for his shirt, a move that caused unease in the Benfica dressing room.
