The Senegal international Mamadou Lamine Camara has joined Al-Ittihad Tripoli in Libya. After two failed attempts, he is finally leaving RS Berkane.

At last! Mamadou Lamine Camara is set for a change of scenery and a fresh challenge in a new league. After two unsuccessful moves—first last year to the Championship and a second this year to Al-Ahly Tripoli—the talented midfielder is now packing his bags for the Libyan Premier League.

According to Wiwsport, the newly crowned African champion has signed a deal worth $2.5 million—equivalent to 1.65 billion CFA francs—with Al-Ittihad. The Senegalese midfielder will earn an annual salary of $1.2 million.

Mamadou Lamine Camara developed his football skills at Darou Salam in Senegal before joining RS Berkane in 2021. Over five and a half seasons, he clinched two CAF Confederation Cup titles with the Moroccan side, as well as the Moroccan Botola Pro League championship.
