The full back, who left Newcastle United following the expiration of his contract, has penned a two-year deal with Rob Edwards' side.

Trippier joined the Magpies from Atlético Madrid in January 2022, becoming the first signing under the club's new ownership, and went on to become a modern-day icon at St. James' Park.

The 35-year-old made 160 appearances for United, scoring four times, and played a key role as Eddie Howe's men ended the club's 70-year wait for a domestic trophy by lifting the Carabao Cup in March 2025.

The former England international - who earned 54 caps for his country - helped lift the Magpies away from the relegation zone after his arrival from Spain before securing qualification for the Champions League twice during his four-and-a-half years on Tyneside.

Trippier's deal keeps him at Molineux until the summer of 2028, and he becomes their first signing of the summer as they look to return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
