Juventus continue to struggle with injuries to their key players, and two of them could miss their match against Sassuolo, as Calciomercato reports that Weston McKennie and Andrea Cambiaso are still not fit enough to play for the Bianconeri.
Both players have been injured for several days and have been training separately from the rest of the squad, so Juve had been hoping that they would return to team training before the match.
Increasing their training load would help the Bianconeri determine whether both players are ready for action as the team prepares for the game. However, that has not happened at the moment, meaning Juve are almost certainly going to play the match without them.
The Bianconeri will not field an unfit player, and the report says that the duo are set to miss the match as things stand because they have not recovered in time to make the squad.
McKennie and Cambiaso will still be evaluated further before the match, but at the moment, it appears almost certain that they will be missing the game for the men in black and white.

Juve consider both players to be important members of their squad, and their absences would leave the team with fewer options. However, the manager must focus on the players who are available and prepare for the game with them in mind.
The situation means Juventus will have to adjust their plans if McKennie and Cambiaso remain unavailable. With neither player currently back in full team training, there is little reason for the Bianconeri to take unnecessary risks with their fitness.
Juve will therefore continue to assess both players, but their manager must prepare for the possibility that neither will be available against Sassuolo. For now, the focus remains on those who are fit enough to play and can help the team secure a positive result.
