The latest Young Lions squad has been announced, with two Newcastle United stars named in the England Under 21s group.
This is for the Euro Under 21 qualifiers to be played in November.
Both Lewis Miley and Lewis Hall named in the Young Lions squad (see below) for these two matches.
Lee Carsley’s side will play the Republic of Ireland at home, then Slovakia away.
The England men’s under-21 squad has been named for November’s games against Republic of Ireland and Slovakia.
Lee Carsley’s Young Lions are back in UEFA U21 EURO qualifying this month, kicking-off with a home game at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park in Birmingham when Ireland are the visitors on Friday 14 November (7.45pm GMT).
They will then head to Slovakia for their second game, which will hold fond memories for Carsley following England’s U21 EURO title win there earlier this summer, with that match taking place at the Tatran Arena in Presov on Tuesday 18 November (5pm GMT).
The Young Lions have made a strong start to their new qualifying campaign, winning all three of their games so far without conceding a goal. It started in September with a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan in Aktobe, before they had a 4-0 victory over Moldova in Chisinau and then turned Andorra over on home soil by 1-0 in Derby last month.
Tickets for the game with Ireland in Birmingham are still available.
