According to L'Équipe, a Nice court has fully acquitted two OGC Nice ultras of criminal association and group violence over November 2025 incidents that affected Terem Moffi and Jérémie Boga, who later left the club.

The men, aged 32 and 45, were tried at the end of July for alleged attacks on Nice players after a 1-3 defeat at Lorient in November 2025.

More than 200 supporters blocked the team coach at the training centre entrance. Some players were insulted, spat at and shoved, prompting Moffi and Boga to file complaints, take sick leave, then secure transfers.

The Nice prosecutor had sought prison terms. The pair had held roles within the Populaire Sud ultra group and had prior convictions linked to football violence, but the court ruled there was neither any preparatory act for criminal association nor violence.

Judges relied in part on a police commander’s report from the scene. It indicated the defendants sought to calm tensions, were allowed onto the coach and told the players, in vehement and vulgar terms, that supporters only wanted to talk.
