Inter Miami is traveling to BMO Field to face Toronto FC in a new MLS encounter. The Herons arrived at Toronto with the qualifications to the playoffs after beating New York City FC 4-0.

With a more mature Javier Mascherano and the return of Luis Suarez to the starting lineup, Las Garzas must win tomorrow’s game to continue in the race for the Supporters’ Shield.

Despite the recent news about Sergio Busquets' retirement, Inter Miami must continue its current performance to prolong the Spanish legend’s career a little longer.

That’s why, here are two player from Toronto FC that the Herons must stop if they want to continue with their winning streak.

Djordje Mihailovic

The brain behind every Toronto offensive play. Without much at stake, the Reds play this game for pride in everything. With that being said, Mihailovic is the player in charge of moving all the strings between the midfield and the strikers.

When he is not on the field, Toronto loses its link-up play and ends up doing a more vertical and predictable playing style.

His best characteristic is his versatility on the field. He can play as a second striker, an offensive midfielder, or as a winger. This characteristic makes him unpredictable, making it easier to find spaces behind defenders.

Even though he doesn’t hold the title of the team’s goalscorer, the U.S player has his signature on every goal Toronto has made this season.

All the way from delivering the assists to initiating the play that ended up with the goal, Mihailovic is a vital part of the Reds.

If Javier Mascherano wants to control the rival's offense, he needs to neutralize the 26-year-old footballer. So Inter Miami can recover the possession of the ball quickly.

José Cifuentes

Before we talked about the offensive mind, José Cifuentes is the defensive engine of the team. In a way, his defending style could be similar to Rodrigo de Paul’s.

He ran every minute of the game; he is the player with the most recoveries in Toronto FC. Cifuentes has the ability to cover large spaces in the midfield, giving the Reds stability, as often the defense ends up too separate from the attack.

Despite his defensive skills, the Ecuadorian player makes runs into the opponent’s box, where he often ends up finishing the play. So, Cifuentes could be considered a full box-to-box midfielder.

Also, his physique will become a problem for Inter Miami. Yannick Bright, Mateo Silvetti, Telasco Segovia, and Baltasar Rodriguez are players who are not used to facing big, strong players like Cifuentes.

His strength in ground duels makes him the most valuable piece to recover possession for Toronto FC.
