After finishing third in 2007, Chile will be aiming to go even further in the 2025 edition of the U20 World Cup, which will be held on home soil.
- The South American side is taking part in its 7th U20 World Cup after previous appearances in 1987, 1995, 2001, 2005, 2007, and 2013.
- This is the second time Chile is hosting the tournament, the first being in 1987.
- Best result: Third place in 2007, with stars like Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sánchez in the squad.
La Roja secured its place in this World Cup as the host nation. Nicolás Córdova's men also participated in the 2025 CONMEBOL U-20 Championship, where they finished last, collecting just one point from five matches.
