We now know the identities of the eight nations that will compete in the quarter-finals of the U20 World Cup, with the final stage taking place in Chile.

Africa will be represented by just one nation in the Top 8—Morocco—after Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa were all knocked out.

As a reminder, the African continent has only won this tournament once before, with Ghana lifting the trophy in the 2009 edition.
