UEFA has hit supporters of VfB Stuttgart with another double fine for protest actions during the recent Europa League home match against Feyenoord Rotterdam. The European football body recently delivered a suspended sentence for Stuttgart fans following pyrotechnic use in the visitors block during a UEL away fixture at Basel.

UEFA imposed a €20,000 fine on the club and placed VfB fans on probation. Another such instance will lead to supporters of the Bundesliga club being banned outright from a future UEL away fixture. Stuttgart supporters struck back during the Feyenoord match, holding up placards demonstrating against the “UEFA Mafia.

A large banner unfurled in English called for the banning of UEFA officials deemed “corrupt bastards“. Numerous “Fuck UEFA!” signs were held up throughout the November 6th, 2025 match. UEFA’s response – delivered on Friday evening – was delivered via a two-part levy. The club itself may be able to contest one of the fines.

An €18,000 fine has been delivered to the club based on the argument that the banners imperiled emergency evacuation routes within the stands. Such breaches of public order can be difficult to appeal. An additional €25,000 fee leveled directly against the Cannstatter Kurve is based in the fact that VfB fans “deliberately insulted UEFA’s reputation”.

This may potentially be negotiated down.
