Academy talents take to European stage

Following their U18 championship title last season, our Young Bulls will once again compete in the 2026/27 UEFA Youth League season via the national Champions Path. Today's draw in Nyon has determined their schedule.

As youth champions of one of the top-ranked associations, our boys have a bye in the first round and will enter directly in the second round of the Champions Path. There, they will face KRC Genk.

The first leg will be played away on October 28, before the decisive second leg at home on November 4.

Route to the knockout phase

Should our Young Bulls prevail in the second round, they will face the winners of the match between NK Bravo and Red Star Belgrade in the third round.

From the three knockout rounds (each consisting of a home and away leg), exactly ten teams will qualify for the round of 32. Starting in early February 2027, these teams will join the teams from the parallel UEFA Champions League Path and continue in a knockout format with single matches.

What is the UEFA Youth League

The UEFA Youth League was launched for the 2013/14 season. This U19 competition was the first official UEFA youth competition at club level, aiming to bridge the gap between youth and professional teams by allowing young players to gain international experience and compete at the highest level with their peers.
