The center forward made an immediate impact—when he entered, the score was still goalless, but just two minutes later, he broke the deadlock in the 67th minute and doubled the advantage in the 71st. The former Rahimo player crushed the visitors’ hopes by completing his hat-trick in the 82nd minute.

This emphatic win allowed Shakhtar Donetsk to maintain their place at the top of the Ukrainian league table with 38 points, level with second-placed LNZ Cherkasy.
