Valencia face new injury doubts before Sevilla, with key players still out of group work.

According to Superdeporte, in Tuesday’s session at Paterna, Guido Rodríguez, Justin de Haas and Luis Rioja again did not train with the squad. Only two sessions remain before the LaLiga 2026-27 matchday 5 trip to the Sánchez Pizjuán.

Rodríguez and de Haas are working alone on the grass and remain apart from the group. They look unlikely to be ready, with Rioja and Dimitri Foulquier having even slimmer chances.

The potential absences add to a mounting headache for Carlos Corberán, who has been under pressure since last season despite a strong run-in. Valencia have taken one point from 12 so far and now visit a Sevilla side who have started well.

Mouctar Diakhaby sustained a muscle injury against Barcelona at Mestalla and on Tuesday left Paterna for tests to determine the extent. An initial check suggested the problem could be significant, and he departed Mestalla limping with the prospect of a spell out.
