Valencia trip to Getafe, Dani Raba out as Hugo Duro travels

Valencia have travelled to Madrid to face Getafe in a match that could prove telling in the survival fight. They are in the relegation zone and risk rivals opening a two matches' advantage.

According to Superdeporte, Carlos Corberán weighed late calls on Hugo Duro and Dani Raba after both missed most training sessions this week.

Hugo Duro shook off his discomfort, trained in the final session and is in the travelling party. Even so, his chances of starting appear slim with Umar Sadiq back and Lucas Beltrán having rested in the Copa del Rey.

Dani Raba did not recover in time and is ruled out. The Cantabrian did not board the AVE and will not feature.

Raba’s involvement had looked unlikely in any case, with Corberán rarely turning to him.
