El Tri U-17 continues to make history in Morocco, as this Sunday they secured their ticket to the World Cup semifinals after defeating Italy.

The game had to be decided on penalties, as it ended in a 0-0 draw. That's when Valeria Alvarado took advantage of the opportunity to shine, bravely taking the fourth penalty and sending it into the back of the net. The Guadalajara midfielder played the full 90 minutes and, as usual, was instrumental in the fluidity of El Tri's play.
