Jesús Vallejo has travelled with Albacete to San Sebastián for Saturday's important match against Real Sociedad B at Zubieta.

According to AS, the defender has improved from recent muscle problems and is in line to start, with Alberto González's side seeking three points for breathing space against a direct rival in the fight for survival.

Vallejo is regarded as a leader in Albacete's defence, bringing authority and organisation.

If he suffers no further issues, he could also be available for next week's meeting with his former club, Real Madrid, in the Copa del Rey round of 16. The tie has created huge excitement in Albacete, with Carlos Belmonte set for a historic sell-out.

For Saturday, the only confirmed absentee is Higinio Marín through injury, while Jon García and Puertas remain major doubts.
