Bournemouth have signed 19-year-old forward Rayan on a five-year contract, and he will wear number 37.

According to Globo.com, Vasco have bid farewell to the academy graduate, who joined the club at six in São Januário.

The transfer is being finalised at 35 million euros, comprising 28.5 million fixed and 6.5 million in add-ons. There is no sell-on clause.

A financial institution will intermediate payment, advancing Vasco’s share up front while Bournemouth repay it over three years. Vasco are due about 24 million euros because his economic rights are shared with family and agents.

Rayan left the club last week and flew to England on Friday, a day after marrying his partner Duda. He held a farewell party in Rio de Janeiro with friends and some relatives.
