According to PaponaColina, Vasco have finalised the financial terms to sign 26-year-old centre-back Gabriel Pereira on loan from Copenhagen for €1.5m, with the agreement running until the end of the European season in mid 2027.

The clubs have set strict triggers for a permanent stay in São Januário. If he starts at least 60% of matches during the loan, Vasco will be obliged to buy him for €6m, with a further €1m in performance bonuses, taking the package close to €8.5m.

Vasco’s staff are working to complete his registration in the Boletim Informativo Diário before the transfer window closes, so the head coach can add an experienced option for the run-in.
