Vasco weigh futures of nine players with deals up in December | OneFootball

Vasco da Gama have nine players whose deals run only until December, spanning loans with options, expiring contracts and academy graduates. According to Globo.com, the board are monitoring performances to decide who stays in 2027.

Centre-back Carlos Cuesta is on loan from Galatasaray of Türkiye until December, with a clause of five point seven five million euros. His stay is not ruled out, but Gabriel Pereira has just been signed for the position, so the number 46’s form will be decisive.

Robert Renan, a starter under Pedro Emanuel, is borrowed from Zenit with an eight million euro option. Both want to continue, and Vasco have signalled they will trigger it.

Johan Rojas is on loan from Monterrey and, after inconsistent form, is unlikely to have the US$ three point five million option activated. The number 10 is not a starter and is expected to leave at year-end.

Homegrown left-back Riquelme is at Panserraikos until December 2026, the same end date as his Vasco deal, after which he will be free. Goalkeeper Pablo is contracted to the end of 2026, third choice behind Léo Jardim and Daniel Fuzato, and competes with Phillipe Gabriel for a senior spot.
