Everton have announced goalkeeper Andy Lonergan has signed a new one-year deal at the club.
The 39-year-old’s contract expired at the end of the season but the Toffees have moved to retain his services ahead of the new season.

The former Preston North End stopper moved to Goodison Park in the summer of 2021 and has yet to make a first-team appearance, instead serving as a third-choice in the role.
Sean Dyche’s side are yet to make a signing ahead of the new season and fans will hope this news kickstart some further activity.
