Kicker reports that VfB Stuttgart have rejected Hull City’s enquiry to take Josha Vagnoman on loan, with the club unwilling to approve a temporary deal.

Sport Bild had recently linked the right-back with newly-promoted Premier League side Hull City.

A permanent transfer is also considered unlikely at this stage. With Lorenz Assignon expected to miss several weeks after shoulder surgery, Vagnoman is required for cover on the right of defence.

Stuttgart aim to keep the squad intact ahead of the new season. Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß noted that Champions League football awaits, reflected on the demands felt two years ago, and stressed the need for a very strong squad.

Vagnoman’s contract with Stuttgart runs until 2028.
