According to Superdeporte, Valencia goalkeeper Vicent Abril left Wednesday's session at Paterna with physical discomfort, and the plan is for him to rejoin training on Thursday.

The academy graduate is currently acting as the second-choice keeper because Julen Agirrezabala is injured and Cristian Rivero has a three-match suspension. For now, only Stole Dimitrievski is available.

Rivero was given a three-match ban by the RFEF disciplinary committee on Wednesday after his red card at Getafe. He was dismissed in the 90+6 minute for throwing a ball onto the pitch during a stoppage to delay the restart.

First-choice Agirrezabala is recovering from a muscle injury that is expected to keep him out for around one and a half months.

He has a left hamstring injury sustained during the match against RC Celta de Vigo.
