According to Superdeporte, Valencia intend to keep Arnaut Danjuma for now, with PSV having asked about the terms of a deal, and want him to earn importance under Carlos Corberán.

His underwhelming campaign left his future in doubt, with an exit considered only if Valencia found the scorer he was not, and if a genuinely interested club emerged.

The 29-year-old requested guaranteed starts, but the response was clear, no promises. The club say places must be won daily, so he will start only if he earns it.

With two weeks left in the window and injuries to Diego López and Luis Rioja, attacking options are thin. A winger signing is still pending, with Largie Ramazani leading, but Leeds have not opened the door this August. Valencia would need a mobile, productive replacement before letting him go.

PSV have sounded out the financial conditions to take him from Mestalla, where he arrived in August 2026 on a deal to June 2028. Villarreal retain a percentage, so Valencia want a significant offer, which has not arrived.

Danjuma and his agents have spoken with PSV contacts, who view him as a Champions League boost for the Eredivisie holders. Options from the Netherlands appeal, and a run at PSV could aid an Oranje return.

Used in Corberán’s B unit, he scored three in pre-season, a double against Derby County and one versus Stoke City. He has not scored in LaLiga since late September, a 1-2 home loss to Real Oviedo.
