According to Superdeporte, Valencia are closely tracking their five loanees, with Víctor Fernández Júnior the standout in the early weeks of 2026/27.
The 18-year-old left-footed playmaker is thriving at Real Valladolid. On Sunday he made two assists in a 2-2 draw with Las Palmas and has eight appearances, one goal and two assists, with five starts and 442 minutes, more than triple André Almeida’s 122 at Racing Santander.
Signed from Levante’s academy and son of a former Villarreal and Valladolid striker, he impressed for VCF Mestalla last season. With no first-team space under Carlos Corberán, a loan back to familiar surroundings was chosen. Valencia executed a purchase clause worth 100,000 euros in the summer and extended his deal to 30 June 2029.
The loan aims for regular competition and responsibility in a squad with play-off ambitions. Now under Fran Escribá at José Zorrilla, he is getting the minutes. A January recall clause depends on several factors, including a minutes threshold, so ending the loan would be harder if his progress continues.
His form earned a Spain under-20 call, debuting on Wednesday and assisting Morante in a 2-0 win over Mexico.
Elsewhere, Almeida’s start at Racing has been uneven, including a late red card in a 2-1 win over Alavés. Mario Domínguez has three short cameos, about 25 minutes, for Excelsior. Lucas Núñez has five appearances and 101 minutes off the bench for Eibar. Goalkeeper Vicent Abril made his first start for Nàstic in a 2-0 loss at Real Murcia, with his loan including a play-time clause.
