Video from inside Real Sociedad bus shows fans saluting historic final berth

Real Sociedad secured a place in a final with supporters on Wednesday, a landmark moment three decades in the making.

According to Diario Vasco, the night of 4 March will be remembered across the club.

Matarazzo’s side disembarked a few metres before the south car park, choosing to complete the last part of their journey on foot.

They moved through a tide of txuri-urdin as fans lined the route and welcomed the players at close quarters.

Footage from inside the bus captured the reception, showing applause, raised fists and smiles among the travelling party.
