Villarreal to visit Champions League winners PSV for July pre-season friendly

Villarreal will visit PSV Eindhoven for a pre-season friendly in July. PSV, Champions League winners in 1987/1988, announced the game.

The fixture is scheduled for Saturday 25 July at the Phillips Stadion in Eindhoven, with kick-off to be confirmed, and it will be broadcast on PSV’s official website.

After several setbacks, it appears part of Villarreal’s summer work will be focused in the Alps.

Pending official confirmation, Villarreal will take part in the Como Cup between 28 July and 1 August. The line-up includes the hosts, recently qualified for the Champions League, Crystal Palace of Yeremy Pino, Lens of France and Al-Ula of Saudi Arabia.

One more team is to be confirmed to complete the six.
